Tree as mighty as thee, With bark brown and gritty, Yet smooth as silk, With roots like steel, And thy whistling leaves, Dear old tree as mighty as thee, Is that truly all there can be?
I love this poem. Something so huge and amazing but still so limited in what it can do.
You know what is cool? Each of us plays a part in this world. Each of us is "huge and amazing" with a purpose that is different from everything else. But we all need each other. Our "limits" are not bad - it just means we can shine in a way that is different from others - we each have been given the opportunity to shine in a way that no one else can shine. :) :)
